". Today I cranked it up in neutral and when I pushed in on the clutch and tried to put it in gear it would not go in gear. I attempted to put it in gear and could feel and hear the gears. Any suggestions?? Is the clutch stuck....throw-out bearing seized...any suggestions for repair?"

My first suggestion would be to look to make sure the clutch release rod is still in place and working. You may have to get someone to push in the clutch pedal while you are under the car to see what is happening.

You can put the car in gear without the engine running, right? Even a stuck clutch or faulty/maladjusted clutch release rod wouldn't prevent that from happening.

Hating to state the obvious, but DO NOT try to start the car with the transmission in gear until you figure out what is going on. Yes,you can start the car with it in gear as a method to unstick a clutch, but you have to make sure you are outside and have a considerable distance to safely stop the car by turning the ignition switch off if you can't get it to go out of gear once you have it running.
