Welcome to the world of aging dogs. It's a bittersweet journey with ups and downs, certainty and doubt, love and fear. All I can tell you is to keep her as comfortable as possible (Pain meds, heated bed, etc.) and show her lots of love. She will let you know when it's time. Every situation is different, and none of them is easy, but it will be evident if the "time" has come. Or she may just pass on her own. My Cooper did, and although it was extremely hard on me (he was only 12 and still in pretty good shape) it was probably better for him. Good luck to you, and enjoy every minute you have her.
