A friend for Doogie

Hi Sue
I'm glad to hear Doogie is going well. Blue's puppies were all great and hopefully the fact that Doris is still going at 14 - although very slow and very fat - is a good sign for his prospects for longevity.
Most people report that their dogs get a new lease on life with the arrival of a puppy - although I think some dogs also resent the intrusion. I would suspect that Doogie would be pretty happy at the prospect.
I wonder if anyone else has experience with this?
all the best
Kate
