Dear Kate, My Susie needs an operation on her back left leg, her tendon in the joint is so badly damaged that the vet wants to do a operation to fix it. She is in a lot of pain at present. Do you recommend this at 12.5 year of age. She has been active to date having endured surgery to remove fatty tissues, removal of her 2 top teeth (broken and infected) and she has a slight heart murmur. What do you recommend. She is much loved but I don't want to put her through an operation if she is going to suffer. Hope you can give me your opinion.
