"clear". But I guess it was kinda used like that around here. The use I remember most, was guys shooting it over their favorite Playboy centerfold on the bottoms of the hoods on their stock cars out at the dirt track. Most simply used a regular fiberglass resin mix, as Doc stated, which was never really super clear to view through, but got the effect across.
Still don't remember it being called an epoxy though. Probably different parts of the country... Not that many "surfers" in the mountains of Kansas....!;)

The "epoxy" we used when we mixed in the flake was a thicker one than what we used for the Clear. We sanded the Flake/Epoxy mix with 180 grit dry paper. Thats about all that would cut that stuff. The ... more
