      Actually it wasn't an exact copy of anything. The kids at Lakota West were far more trained and experienced and able to handle much more difficult staging and choreography. Flags and costumes were... more

      It is no disrespect to the students that worked hard to learn the show, it goes to tell a lot about the directors that couldn't come up with a great idea or even make one they saw their own

          a lot of groups these days are buying shows. There isn't a rule against it so why not if they want to do that? However, on a personal level I think that takes a layer of the fun out of the show.

                  The issue is that, unlike concert band, half the guard's score is based on the design of the show. If that is copied, then that group gets an advantage. This is competitive art, not just performance... more
