Mr. P's Palace.....................
You're right, there may have been 64 counts of "original" choreography or staging in there. But when every event is staged and choreographed identical to the Lakota West show, that's copying. Even with permission, it's copying.
The flags and costumes I saw were identical. Not similar, identical. Again, half the guard's score is based on composition/design. Getting inspired by something is different than taking a video and copying it. The activity is centered around creativity, that's why it is on the judges' sheets.
It is not fair to groups that truly design their own shows to have to compete with those that copy them, with or without permission. Copying is not something that should be rewarded in our activity. NO one else does this in the winter guard activity. NO one.

I realize alot of people take ideas/concepts and tweak them to make them their own idea but I would have to agree with the initial post. Doing EVERYTHING the same from the costumes to the...

Considering they WON, that pisses me off. I thought it was a great idea until I saw that.
