Has this caught anyone else off guard? I found out yesterday and it falls on my second week of band camp. I'm not sure I understand this yet, but at this point I'm thinking this is going to greatly... more

  I'm having trouble finding it on the MSHSAA website. Where is this rule, football, band or a special section?

  The way I understand it, after August 6th, marching band must adhere to the same new acclimatization guidelines as football. No matter the heat, only three hours of practice is allowed outside.

    It is a 14 day process. Days 1-5 maximum of 3 hours rehearsal. Days 6-14 maximum of 5 hours rehearsal, but must have a three hour break after first three hours.
