The following link is the suggested plan that some states are adapting for their preseason heat acclimatization procedures.

In no part of that article does it state that band is included, instead it only uses the term "student-athletes." I love my band kids and all, but I'd hardly call them athletes. That said, there's nothing on mshsaa.org that even refers to this plan.

Just something else to ask my AD on Monday.

      My AD didn't think it applied to bands. It says sports teams and spirit groups. He doesn't count us as a spirit group.
