So you're saying that O'Fallon and/or Francis Howell applied to host these shows and were turned down by MCCGA for a location closer to the Southwest Missouri area? I don't recall Howell and O'Fallon Township applying for these things this summer, but I may be mistaken. It takes two to tango...you realize that, right? Heck, Family Arena would be a great venue to hold championships at, but far as I know they haven't expressed much interest at all in taking that responsibility on.

Also....why again is it (or should it be) assumed that circuit championships be held in the St. Louis area? Especially when the Springfield (and surrounding) area seems to have many more willing hosts who are able to provide a venue? Are there that many more groups in the St. Louis area vs. the KC and Springfield areas that it's a foregone conclusion that St. Louis should be the epicenter of all MCCGA Percussion activity? I'm asking because I don't know...don't have the numbers in front of me. But it sure seems to me like there's a lot of participating groups from all 3 of those areas. Why is it such an insult if championships are held outside of the STL area?
