Depression is an enemy

Have you been treated for the depression - this, what you call laziness, is a symptom of the depression. Have you spoken to your doctors about this. There are medications that can help - you and the doctors may need to experiment to find the right ones - but it is worth some effort.

One thing that I have been advised to do is take a painkiller an hour before a physical therapy session. It makes the pain of working muscles, nerves and tendons more bearable and then you get more improvement in muscle strength.

I have been lucky that despite some nasty physical issues last year that I have not been depressed. I can't put myself in your shoes.

You will need to ask for the medicines that will be like crutches to help you out of the depression. You need to take baby steps and reach out to the doctors.
