You might be right, and yes, I like to hear of people that interpret things in the way they want or see things their way. That is the Gnostic Christian way to some extent. We tend not to reject things that make sense though and as esoteric ecumenists, we can even embrace certain interpretations that we feel worthy or right to another.

We allow and encourage the evolution of thought. That is how we evolve our internal God.

We follow the more esoteric Jesus as he seemed to dislike organized social control groups from both the religious and political arenas.

I think, but have yet to prove, and might never be able to prove that the original Chrestians were a combination of Jews and non-Jews who later changed their name to Gnostic Christians because Christianity usurped our original name. Perhaps just to gain credibility.

The data for that period is rather scarce and is hardly spoken of in these forums.
