To interested ANEC Forum members,

In regard to the 5 year 'error' in calculations of the birth 'date' for Abraham by Eusebius, our Father of Biblical History, we must first establish the accurate "date" for that sequential event in actual Biblical history.

We know for sure,---now,---that Eusebius was not correct in choosing 2015, as Marianne stated in this Forum. We know for sure that St. Jerome was also not correct when he choose 2017 for that "date" when he corrected the "Chronicle" of Eusebius AND established a MINUS 73 year error in his own work ca; 420BC.

I shall state,---now,--- that Abraham was born in the 70th year of his father, Terah, in 1948AM, 1813CJ/BC, +131yrs = 1944BC. And Sarai/Sarah in 1958AM, 1803CJ/BC, +131yrs = 1935BC, by Haran!

Terah's 'other' sons, Haran & Nahor II, were born, according to The Book of Jasher, in Terah's 38th year: 1916AM, 1845CJ/BC, +131yrs = 1976BC.

So, the 73 year St. Jerome 'error' is calculated: 2017 MINUS 1944BC, = MINUS 73.

And the 'error' of Eusebius, which Marianne did quote,---(from I Know NOT where),---would calculate: 2015 MINUS 1944BC, = 71.

In my 'Post' 177754: The correct year of St. Jerome's 'Revision' and 'updated' of the 'Chronicle' of Eusebius is actually about 420AD, NOT 420BC, as I, again, failed to 'check-before-posting' my... more
