Being "civilised", I can. I'm by no means skilled at it, but I can indeed "Knap" flint into arrowheads and cutting blades.

And build a fire without matches (but you really have to work your arse off with a fire bow to do it).

And I know that cracking open the skull of a slain animal, rubbing the brains into the "hair side" of a pelt and then rolling the thing up for month removes all the hair and produces crude leather.

But it sure stinks . . .
